10 Life Lessons That Have Helped me Tremendously ๐
I'm 25. Here are 10 life lessons that have helped me tremendously ๐งต๐งต๐งต
Misplaced something? Put it on your mom saying "Yaad nahi hai? Mummy ko hi diya tha maine uss din."
Poor soul will take it up on her to find it.
Only humble request is to help her in this expedition.
You've left undies in the bathroom. Dad enters & within seconds yells "WHOSE IS THIS!"
Do not respond nonchalantly saying "It is mine"
Try this:"Aiyooo! It's my fault. Sorry Sorry!"
Owning mistakes upfront with shame dripping your face is an excellent calming strategy.
Leave your spoon inside the jars. Always.
Your mum will be mad at you.
But trust me, that's nothing compared to the joy you experience when you open the jar again.
Make sure you ask for "cold" water when you visit your relatives.
Chances are high they'll offer a flavoured drink that's hiding in their fridge.
Asking for normal water won't do the trick.
Sweet dishes which are leftover after relative-visits are not meant to be eaten slowly.
The moment they step their second foot outside, rush to the kitchen as if there's no tomorrow and eat to your heart's content.
That feeling of slyly eating this food is unbeatable.
You're thirsty. You walk up to the kitchen only to find an empty water pot.
Wait. Do not fill it.
Someone else will. This is a huge responsibility that you do not want to take up at this stage of your life.
The day you do it, pat yourself & say "Bada Ho Gaya Re Tu"
After shower, make sure to NOT reset the tap.
Let it be.
Someone will come with the hopes of washing their legs. Only to realise life and this shower had different plans for them.
It's okay if they yell at you.
These cheap thrills are way more important for your happiness.
As you grow older, your goal should be to earn the badge of "The-Filthiest-Child-In-The-Whole-Wide-World"
This is the badge that's been passing on from generations.
This is the badge of honour.
The best part? You don't have to do much.
You just have to be you.
The day you hear "Aur-Kisike-Ghar-Pe-Itna-Ganda-Nahi-Hota-Hoga" is the day you need to understand you're not alone.
We're all in this together.
The saying "you can't make everyone happy" will make complete sense this day.
Want to take revenge from a family member? Try this: Get up early.
Drink lukewarm water.
Get your belly ready.
It's time for a dump. Get it all out.
But do not flush.
That's it.
Light up their mornings like they have been lighting yours.
